Our opening prayer this week:

All glory, laud and honor To you Redeemer, King,
To whom the lips of children Made sweet hosannas ring.
You are the King of Israel, And David’s royal Son,
Now in the Lord’s name coming, The King and Blessèd One.

The company of angels Are praising you on high,
And mortal men and all things Created make reply.

As you received their praises, accept the prayers we bring,
O Source of every blessing, Our good and gracious King.

Daniel 11:33–35

  • "Those who have insight among the people will give understanding to many, yet they will fall by the sword and flame, and be captured and plundered for a time.
  •  34 When they fall, they will be helped by some, but many others will join them insincerely.
  •  35 Some of those who have insight will fall so that they may be refined, purified, and cleansed until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.
